AURA always has dry brushes in stock. Dry brushing is a wellness practice that involves brushing the skin with a dry, stiff-bristled brush. It’s often used in skincare and holistic health routines. Here are the main benefits commonly associated with dry brushing:

  1. Exfoliation: Removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin feeling softer and smoother.
  2. Lymphatic Support: May stimulate the lymphatic system, helping the body eliminate toxins more efficiently.
  3. Improved Circulation: Increases blood flow, which can temporarily give the skin a more radiant appearance.
  4. Cellulite Appearance: Some people report a temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite due to increased blood flow and skin plumpness.
  5. Pore Cleansing: Helps unclog pores and clear oil, dirt, and residue.
  6. Invigoration: The process can feel energizing and may serve as a gentle wake-up ritual.
  7. Stress Relief: The repetitive motion may have a calming, meditative effect.

Here’s a simple dry brushing routine to help you get started (5–10 minutes). Do each area 3-7 times.

  • Choose the right time: Do it before showering, ideally in the morning for an energy boost.
  • Use the right brush: Pick a natural-bristle brush (not synthetic).
  • Begin at your feet: Brush in long, firm strokes toward your heart (this follows lymph flow).
  • Work your way up:
    • Legs → thighs → buttocks
    • Hands → arms → shoulders
    • Abdomen (circular motion) → chest (gentle strokes)

We recommend that you shower afterwards to wash off the exfoliated skin. You can finish with a moisturizer or body oil to rehydrate. Be sure to clean your brush weekly using soap and warm water, then air dry.
