Family Hour in the Salt Cave

A great way to keep the kids healthy!  Let them breathe in the benefits while playing in the salt. Family hour is recommended for younger children that can't sit quietly in regular relaxing adult sessions. We provide toys (please do not bring your own). Please bring clean white socks for the kiddos.

Sound Bath

We all recognize the power of sound. Whether pleasant or harsh, sound affects both our physical and energetic bodies.  A blast of a car horn can make us jump and get our heart thumping, while a favorite song can boost our mood. But did you know that just by listening to certain sounds we can actually help our bodies heal? 

During a sound bath, vibrational tones are played through a variety of unconventional instruments (such as singing bowls and chimes). Research has shown these vibrational tones emit frequencies that encourage the brain to enter into theta state (deep relaxation). Being in theta state enables the mind and body to rest and heal. In fact, theta brainwaves are often described as the “waves of healing”. 

Attending a sound bath gives your nervous system the opportunity to enter into a parasympathetic state, allowing your body’s natural restorative healing process to activate. 

Enjoying a sound bath is an effortless way to boost theta brainwave activity. Just lie back and let the vibrations lull you into that deep relaxation state where you may experience:

Didgeridoo Bath

Enjoy a 45-minute salt therapy session surrounded by the healing vibrations of sound! The didgeridoo is a wind instrument, played with vibrating lips to produce a continuous drone while using a special breathing technique called circular breathing.

Meditation: July Buck Full Moon

Buck Moon Meditation offers a serene journey aligning with the energy of the full Buck Moon.

The Buck Moon is often considered a time of growth, renewal, and regeneration, as bucks shed their antlers each year and grow new ones. This process is seen as a metaphor for personal growth and transformation, as we must also shed old patterns and beliefs to grow and evolve.

We will also be sharing our favorite crystals to use during the Buck Full Moon and will also be sharing a fun activity!

Yoga Class

This session focuses on gentle stretching, basic poses, and mindful breathing techniques. Perfect for newcomers and those looking to refresh their practice. This class will help you improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.

This class will be led by our RYT and LE Jacky Damon who has over 20 years of experience in yoga, meditation and breathwork.

This class is geared towards beginners, but all levels are welcome.

Gong Bath

Women's Circle of Care

Led by Pam Burns, MA, CHt, SD-C

  • When: Saturday, July 6, July 13, July 27 and August 3 | 10:00am-Noon
  • Where: Halo Room
  • Cost: $199 per person for all 4 sessions (includes halotherapy session)

A little background: In the ancient days, women gathered in circles. They talked, gave birth, shared stories and experiences. It was a private and magical world where girls were led into womanhood. We at AURA would like to bring back some of those ancient traditions. A safe place of confidentiality to share, bond and assist each other out of our times of aloneness and confusion. We are starting our own “Circle of Care”. A place that serves as a reminder to be gentle with oneself.

There will be 4 sessions with a maximum of 6 people in the circle. Each session will run anywhere from one and a half to two hours long. Topics will be chosen by the group. Some examples may be: Getting unstuck, anxiety and depression, pampering yourself, following your dreams, being more productive, major life changes, etc. You will be able to choose topics that work for you. You will learn to meditate and we will do some hypnosis to
jump start you in achieving your desires and goals. We will also include a halotherapy treatment in each session. Come join us and allow your mind to take you beyond your imagination.

About your Circle of Care leader: Pam Burns has been with AURA for most of its existence. She is a Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist and a retired Mental Health Therapist. She was an operating room nurse and after grad school she was a program manager for an adult psychiatric crisis stabilization unit. She ran a children’s psychiatric hospitalization program and she also did school based therapy and outpatient adult therapy. Trust us when we say that Pam is one of the most amazing people we know.
