Welcome! We are Kelly & Tadgi DeBerg and we started AURA salt cave and wellness in July 2017. We first visited a salt cave with friends in 2016 and had several conversations about how Western New York could benefit from halotherapy (salt therapy). We visited a handful more for the experience and talked to several people about how it helped them. We were inspired by the stories we heard and one thing led to another and all the cards fell into place for us to offer halotherapy to our community. We started with our salt cave, a hand and foot detox room and two infrared saunas.
Fast forward to April 2019 and we had the opportunity to expand so we took action and got busy. We doubled our space and added another salt therapy room (our halo room) and three wellness rooms. We now offer massage / cupping, reflexology, facials / waxing, hypnosis, past life regression, reiki and chakra balancing, and mindfulness life coaching. More about our services can be found here.
At the beginning of 2020 we were able to grow again and teas herbs n’ spices by AURA was born! This is a new and exciting adventure for us and we are thankful for the opportunity to offer our community over 150 loose leaf teas along with well over 100 bulk herbs and bottled spices. We buy in small batches to ensure freshness and we bottle all the spices in-house. We also started our online store as another step to offer our products beyond our local community.
We believe in wellness and self care and we are passionate about helping people and this is our way of doing so. Plus, it is fun! We continue to learn and we love all the conversations we have with our customers. We love our AURA family and we have met some really special people over the past few years. We are grateful and so very thankful for each and every one of you.
“Our commitment is to always treat people with dignity, respect and honesty. That includes each other, our peers and employees, our vendors and partners, our customers and our community. We want you to have an experience you'll feel good about!”
