Selenite (Satin Spar) Wand

Selenite (Satin Spar) is also referred to as "liquid light" among crystal connoisseurs. It is a white or clear stone known for its powerful healing and energizing properties. Selenite helps to clear, protect and shield your personal energy body, or the energy of your home.  Since it can help to shield you from outside influences, especially negative ones, many people use a selenite wand when energetically gridding their home.

Another use is for Aura cleansing. You can use a selenite wand as an “energy eraser" by starting at the top of your head. Hold the wand about five inches from the top of your head and slowly bring the crystal down your body and visualize the crystal taking in all the negativity, anxiety and worries from your day. This simple technique only takes a few minutes but is very powerful for clearing away unwanted energy.

There is always a lot of confusion between Selenite and Satin Spar. Let us try and help clear it up for you. Selenite is a transparent and colorless (or very lightly colored) variety of Gypsum that forms in distinct crystals. Satin Spar is a fibrous and opaque form of Gypsum. They basically have the same/similar properties.
