What is the difference between the salt cave and the halo room?
The Salt Cave and Halo Room provide the exact same treatment via a Halogenerator. The difference in the rooms is simply the temperature and appearance.  Please see the Halotherapy tab for a more detailed explanation of the rooms.

How should I dress for my appointment?
Dress comfortably! If you are doing the salt cave or halo room, they can get a bit chilly so feel free to bring a blanket with you.

When should I arrive for my appointment?
If you are doing a service for the first time, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will have a quick intake form for you to fill out. If you’ve been with us before, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior so that we can check you in and so that you have time to use the restroom before your service starts.

Why is AURA fragrance free?
Many of the people that come to AURA are here for a respiratory treatment. Those that have asthma, COPD, allergies, migraines, etc. are triggered by perfumes, colognes and fragrances. We also ask you to be smoke free. The smell might not be offensive to you, but it may trigger another persons ailments.

Do you charge my credit card ahead of time, and do you charge the card on file?
No, we do not. Whether you book in person, online or over the phone, you will be asked to put a credit card on file. We will NOT charge this card unless you do not adhere to the cancellation policy. When you are here for your appointment, you can pay for your service any way you choose (cash preferred). Even with a card on file, we will ask for a form of payment when you are checking out.

Why do you prefer cash payments?
As a small business, credit card fees really hurt us. We don't have the same power as the big companies to negotiate rates. Our yearly credit card fees could pay for an employees salary, but instead, the fees just make credit card companies and banks richer. We prefer to keep the money here in our own community where we live, work, and support other small businesses.  Thank you for your consideration!

Why should I confirm my appointment when I get the text?
As a small business that employs several therapists, we strive to not only make your experience amazing, but we also take pride in taking care of our dedicated staff.  Our therapists depend on your appointments and a timely schedule.  They set aside time for you and missed appointments/last minute cancellations are a loss not only for AURA, but for the therapist specifically.  By confirming your appointments, we can make the best use of the schedule to make sure our staff are taken care of.
